[Moon-net] HK1DX 05/01/07

[Maximo EA1DDO/HK1DX]

Hi all,

Congratulations from yesterday Qso´s; Kjell - SM7BAE, Hans - DL8GP, Joseph - 
K9MRI, Mark - W7MEM and Pietro - I2RV.

It was difficult, most signals between -24 to -30db. I had two or three AC 
faults (blackouts), polarization changes etc. Someone in EU was Txing 
horizontal and Rxing vertical to me...

At the beggining I got some pile-up traces and I did as much I was able. I 
am sorry for the guys who was TXing with no results.

Tonight I have family meeting so, no radio tonight.
Now my Moonrise is coming late here (HK time) and too late in EU, so, we 
have to wait to my HK morning in a few days to the EU Moonset.
My HK morning is good for the Pacific area; JA, VK, UA0...

70cm band now is quiet difficult so I am waiting to Jan 21 to try, so anyone 
interested in 70cm EME be ready around Jan 21.

PD. Finally I got a second antenna, CushCraft 17B2, but... a second box with 
the phaser is lost on the transportation courier... I hope they find it 
soon.
