A suggestion would be to use F1EHN's calculator.

Jamesburg parameters:
last weekend:
1296
TX loss 2.5 dB
TX power 100W
RX loss 2.5dB
RX NF 0.7dB
RX BW 500Hz
Antenna Gain 46 dB

3/17 (hopefully)
TX loss 0.5dB
TX power 100W
RX loss 0.5dB
RX NF 0.7dB
RX BW 500Hz
Antenna Gain 46 dB

Your performance will vary based on your parameters...

Hello ,

what is supposed to be the minimum setup to work the two big dishes 
stations ( 8N1EME and  Jamesburg)  on 23cm ?
If WX permit ( moon visibility)  , I can try with 1*55 and 100w , I wonder 
wether it is enougth ?
