[Moon-net] Big dishes minimum setup?

Hello Dom,

I worked the Jamesburg station on CW with 375W and a 10ft dish, 0.25db
nf on my end last weekend.. with the current moonpath loss, it was
marginal but ok, so I may be one of the lowest end stations for this
group as currently configured.

I have not worked the 8N1 group.  But sometimes us "small guns" can beat
the odds.. it will be interesting to see if you can succeed.  I know
both big stations are working to improve their capabilities.

Hello ,

what is supposed to be the minimum setup to work the two big dishes
stations ( 8N1EME and  Jamesburg)  on 23cm ?
If WX permit ( moon visibility)  , I can try with 1*55 and 100w , I
wonder wether it is enougth ?
