[Moon-net] Dubus CW night events 3rd window ?

Excellent points.
Alaska is even more western than CA, being on the same longitude as
Hawaii (mid-Pacific). Activity days that reflect high plus
declination do provide more moon time for far northern stations so
this effect is softened some. Alaska sees EU at both Moonrise and
Moonset time periods. I used this fact during the last ARRL contest.
Although I have not been a participant for the CW-only events in the
past due to my extreme QRP station, progress is being made on the
8877 PA which will enable effective operation on CW. A big plus
today was picking up a HV psu that should provide full QRO
operation. It is surplus and will require clean-up, testing and
perhaps some repair, but the over 100-lb. rack mount unit shows
promise (may even be 6000v). This unit was donated (yes free!) by a
local ham who builds PA's and had several excess units. This
advances my efforts to QRO considerably.
I support Oene's proposals.
