[Moon-net] Mounting amp & pwr supply at feed

Hello:

I'm considering mounting the DEM 120 watt, 1296 amp and a switching power supply very near the feedpoint of my 4 X 45 element loopers, in the hope that I might work a few stations off the moon.

The mechanics of the project don't appear to be too challenging, but I've begun thinking about the heat problem associated with mounting both the amp and the power supply in the same box.

I've seen several posts on this reflector indicating that amps and power supplies are being mounted at the feedpoint.

I'm wondering if any of you that have accomplished this proceedure wouldl be kind enough to share the details of how you handled the the various associated problems, such as heat and moisture.
