All,

We are having another work party and time on the air at Jamesburg this weekend. Here is our tenative schedule
(times are in local Pacific time in California):

Plans:
0) Arrive Saturday 10AM
1) After talking with Vertex, we plan to reload Vertex ROM defaults, load Jamesburg parameters.
(note: we did get the aux drives to work last time, but primaries still not working correctly)
2) Add a 2meter feed just below the subreflector. Add 10 GHz feed inside horn
3) try sun noise tests on 10G & 144 on Saturday
4) Try EME on Sunday

MOON:
April 14/15
Sat:
5:20AM-4:30PM

Sun:
5:40AM-5:40PM

We have a window into Europe early in the morning on Sunday,
and if all goes well we shall be ready to go as soon as the moon is 7 degrees above the horizon. Due to local hills we cannot go lower than that. We will try to have several hundred watts on two meters and about 28 watts on 10 GHz.
Look for us somewhere around 10368.020 MHz.

Success will depend on how well the feeds get mounted and the
time it takes to do it. Climbing on a 30 Meter dish is not easy and sometimes dangerous, so things sometimes take a little longer than expected.

73,

Brian W6BY
