TNX for the info Dave. I sent another inquiry to Lee Wical, one of the
pilot stations for the operation, asking again for a clarification on
the frequencies they will be using. His reply was simply "as
published". If by some quirk they really HAVE been on the air sitting
up on the insane frequencies that appear on their web page (144.375 and
50.375), that would certainly explain why they are hearing nobody and
why nobody is hearing them!

I tend to put more stock in the believe the information you received
directly from K3LP about their CORRECT 2m frequency. I only wish we
could get some sort of reliable response from them as to when and where
they are planning to get on 6m EME! So far, we have heard third hand
that they are planning to operate on 50.205, but we don't know when or
whether they can operate 2m and 6m at the same time. I will get on
tomorrow morning on for their next moonrise and call them again on
50.205 as I did last week and hope they show up. I will also make a
point of trying to watch for activity on their "published" frequency of
50.375 in case the operator is not the one who agreed to operate on
50.205. I am afraid they don't have any idea how essential it is to get
the word out regarding the correct frequency they are going to be
operating on when it comes to EME :-( I am sure on the HF bands they
make a big splash and everybody can find them by tuning the band, but on
EME it is MUCH more difficult when their signal is NOT going to be
continually S9 - in fact it will probably never be audible for anyone.

Good luck to all - I wish there were more definite information to
announce :-( VY 73, Lance
