I called N8S for an hour (0611-0711Z) and just listened for another half
hour tonight (in case they were transmitting in the second sequence),
but never saw any trace of them on 6m EME during their moonrise. I was
calling and listening on 50.201 (the frequency I have frequently
proposed to them) and listening also on 50.375 (the frequency they list
for EME on their website) but there were no traces from them. I
understand they had only been to the island 6 hours before their
moonrise, so maybe they just were not ready yet. I also hear they had
an earthquake of 6.1 in the area, so that may have slowed them down too.
CNDX are getting very poor until the middle of next week, and I hope
that they will be QRV by then. If I hear any good information about
them, I will post it here. GL and 73, Lance
