[Moon-net] TS-850SAT Freq. tuning problem.

Hello all,
My TS-850SAT has started to jump upwards sometimes as much as 30-50 Hz when tuning downwards, but OK when tuning upwards in frequency.
This is in FINE tuning mode, In regular tuning mode it jumps several hundred Hz upwards when tuning downwards. Could it be that the encoder disc.
has come loose or maybe the reader. Or is it not a mechanical problem but something wrong with the associated electronics? Can somebody help, please. Thanks in advance.
