[Moon-net] Contest - 1st Pass Results

Hello 2m EME Friends:

I had an extremely hi noise level on 2m AGAIN last nite during the contest.  Was QRV shortly after moonrise at 0300z & quickly worked IK3MAC.  What a nice beacon you are Graziano.  The only other station I worked before going QRT at 0430z was IK1FJI after I called QRZ for quite awhile in response to his CQ.  Never heard my own echos or any other station.

Will try agn tonite after moonrise ~0330z up to ~20 deg EL.  If noise still a problem, will go QRT.

Not sure what's causing the problem but hv had the same condx since the last time I tried to operate.  I pointed the antennas straight up (90 deg) & still had a hi noise level. I looked at the output of the preamp on my spectrum analyzer to see if it might be oscillating but it was fine.
