[Moon-net] Moonbounce for Disaster Service?

A group of hams is working with the owners of a 30 meter dish in Jamesburg
California. We plan a Moonbounce demo event soon, lighting up the dish
with, at first, 500 watts of 1296 carrier power, for SSB. I have observed,
but not generated a moonbounce contact yet, so as a rookie, I can ask naieve
questions about EME, perhaps with a fresh, outside of the box approach...
My question is, if we had a full KW at the antenna connector, and, say, a 15
db gain quad shooting up to the secondary reflector (cassegrain feed) from
the base (vertex) of the dish, we would produce a huge EIRP. The dish by
virtue of its diameter, has a theoretical gain somewhere around 50db at
1296. (Spec'd at 63db at 6.2 ghz.)
With that kind of EIRP, what is the size of a receiving station antenna
(yagi, Quagi, or Dish) required to provide a reasonably strong clear SSB
signal? (Or, with a digital modulation signal?) If it is relatively
modest, then what are the possibilities that EME with this dish in the loop,
could be useful as a disaster link? The ground station at the disaster
site, might be modest enough, economically and physically, and would have no
time charges, as incurred with satellite links, which would be attractive.
