Hello EME Friends:
I have not bn QRV for abt 4 months due to QRL but am planning on being QRV for part of the Dubus CW EME Activity Events today, 13 August. My moonrise is not until abt 0500z so I probably will start listening shortly thereafter. I hv a sked with DH3YAL at 0730z so I should be answering CQs & calling CQ between 0530 - 0730z.
Hope to work many old friends & some new ones as well.
Wondering if there has bn a solar flare? Just checked sun noise at 1300 local time today & measured a whopping 18dB of sun noise vs 6dB under "normal" condx. If this is the case, there probably will be severe atmospheric disturbances which will make copying much more difficult. My moonrise is at abt 2200 local time so hope for gud condx by then.
